Dining At The Chateau

If you have reserved a room in the Chateau or the Petite Maison then breakfast is included. This normally consists of locally made breads & croissants served with a variety of preserves, fresh fruit, fruit juice and a choice of cereals.

An evening meal can be booked for as many evenings as you wish. This is a set meal which consists of 4 courses and the chateau’s own garden produce is complimented by the wide variety of excellent seasonal local produce.

The chateau is situated in the gourmet region of France, famous for Foie Gras, Confit de Canard, excellent quality pork , the dessert Croustade as well as the local aperitif, floc and the world famous Armangnac. Guests dining at the chateau can experience a real taste of Gascony. As the chateau has its own appellation, the abundant vines surrounding the gardens produce the Chateau de Pomiro Armangnac as well as red and white floc. The cellars are currently stocked with the brandy aged in casks for over 30 years.

Guests with special dietary requirements are welcome and can be catered for when booked in advance.

For most of the year it is normal for guests to enjoy dining on one of the garden terraces and at other times meals are taken in the chateau’s splendid dining room.
